Friday Creature
Remember the dove from back in April? Well, I think I missed her first brood, but she's still at it, and yesterday I got a peek at a hatchling.
It's been a rainy week here in Chattavegas and it looks to be a wet weekend. I don't have any big plans -- now that all the excitement of grand openings on the riverfront is over, I suppose I'll settle down to a summer routine of weekend projects. I'll try to share some photos from my trip here as soon as I get around to slogging through all the pictures... In the meantime, check out all the cool photos over on the Friday Ark!

So glad you posted this pic! Just today I was enjoying a noisy family of 4 bluejays, having it out over some altercation between the four of them, and I was wondering whatever happened to the hatchlings at your window (I was back and forth to the laundry room during this time).
Call it synchronicity, I hadn't thought of your nestlings in weeks. Nor have I clicked on your link in weeks.
Weird, huh?
